Welcome! My name is Lin Yang. I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the School of Economics, Georgia Institute of Technology.
I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in development economics at the intersection of political economy. I study topics related to foreign aid, health, and armed conflict. In all my projects, I employ GIS mapping to build datasets and generate innovative insights.
I hold a M.S. in Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in English from Central University of Finance and Economics.
